- Tablet assistant for train drivers

Thanks to NavTrain, the driver has a clear overview of everything needed for the current section of the route. The application alerts them to approaching critical points.
About the NavTrain application
The NavTrain application displays the relevant Line condition tables, List of valid restrictions (effective from the end of 2025) and Tabular timetable for a specific line and train service on a single screen, in full compliance with the D1 regulation, including the train’s current position.
- Displays the position of the train
- Time tables and track alerts elements related to the current position and the actual train
The main screen of the application is divided into two sections. The lower section displays the line timetable, which is automatically updated based on data from the railway infrastructure manager. The upper section displays the currently valid Line condition tables elements, information on speed restrictions, and other limitations related to the location where the train is currently operating.
The design of the graphical elements for Line condition tables and List of valid restrictions is fully compliant with the D1 regulation and can be viewed either on a map or in a logarithmic table styled after ETCS. Both views can be switched seamlessly at any time.

It warns of potential risks in time (at braking distance)
Expected / exceeded speed
Power system change
Open crossing
Other optional alerts
All data in one place. Clearly and quickly.
Train position
During the journey, the application obtains the exact position from the NavCom unit, NavCom X, or directly from the tablet running NavTrain.
Time tables and Track alerts
Using the train’s position and the corresponding mileage marker (kilometric distance of elements on the track), the application displays elements of Line condition tables, List of valid restrictions, and Tabular timetable. The timetable view can be expanded to full screen.
Stations, Braking, Restrictions
The driver also sees additional data such as basic radio communication, station data, or data from the international braking report. A text version of the List of valid restrictions is also available.
Advance Information
The application informs the driver well in advance about everything that lies ahead on the line – always with a safety margin corresponding to twice the braking distance.
Maximum speed
The driver can see the maximum permitted speed for their train on the current section, based on information from Line condition Tables and List of valid restrictions.
Extraordinary Events Alerts
If the driver receives information from the railway infrastructure manager about an open level crossing, they can easily mark that crossing in the application and will be warned about it in good time during the journey. The driver is always alerted about extraordinary events communicated via List of valid restrictions.
Always working. Always up-to-date.
Railway administration data
Data is downloaded from the Railway Administration's systems before the start of a specific journey.
Offline function
NavTrain works perfectly even off-line. You do not have to be connected to the internet while driving.
Automatic updates
Whenever the train stops at the station, all important data is updated.
We make the driver's job easier and safer
The driver can prepare for the ride more easily and better thanks to the NavTrain application. Especially if he is going on a track that he has not driven for a long time.
The driver may report infrastructure manager error while driving - wrong position of the track alert element, overgrown signal, etc. The current train position and all displayed information are saved with the report.
In situations where the driver solves several tasks at once while driving, the application gives him the certainty that he did not miss anything important on the track.
